Our Community

WRBT and its Sangha have been actively involved with our local community since the early 1900’s. Our doors have been open to the public for 100 years to learn and practice Shin Buddhist teachings. Interdependence (we are all connected) is one of the basic tenets of Buddhism.

We also strive to give exposure to others with the good non-profit work they do. Just in the past few years here are some of the organizations we have worked with:

• King County Equity and Social Justice Office

• Green River Community College

• Faith Action Network

We strongly believe that the practice of Shin Buddhism requires us to be an active and positive participant in our local community.
